Small Steps Book Report in Google Drive

Do not open the 4th Grade Technology blog.  Instead, please follow these instructions:
1. Login to your computer
2. Click on Google Chrome
3. From the HTS Home Page, click on HTS Webmail Login
4. Type your Username in the first box (last name followed by first initial, ex. stoneb)
5. Type your Password in the next box:  _________
6. In the top right corner of the screen, click on this symbol of 9 dots:
7. Then click on Google Drive - look for this symbol:
8. Look for your book report document that you started typing last week and double click to open.

For those that finish before the end of class, please login to 4th Grade Kidblog and respond to a prompt about Cricket in Times Square.

Then, you may login to HTS Typing Club and practice keyboarding:
Username: last name followed by first initial
Password: htstype

Things to Consider Before You Comment

First, we will discuss appropriate ways to comment on your classmates’ blog posts.  Then, I want you to login to Kidblog and leave a thoughtful comment that shows you know the difference between Social and Academic comments.  Don’t forget to use perfect spelling and punctuation. Then, please respond to the blogging prompt about your Christmas break.

These slides are from the Langwitches Blog and they will help us review the difference between social and academic commenting.  In school, we will ALWAYS use academic commenting.
