Online Research - The Titanic
Today, everyone will login to the computer with their username and password.
User name: last name followed by first initial
Password: reader3 (except for Parker and Kyion)
Open a new tab and click on your bookmark for the 4th Grade Technology Blog.
Today, you will use the HTS Library's online encyclopedias again. I want you to research facts about the Titanic.
Use a pencil to fill out the worksheet that will be handed out to you.

Scratch - Online Research - Typing Club
1) Before you finish your online research about the Chesapeake Bay, I want you to click on the link to Scratch. Everyone will click on "Try It Out" and we will go through "Getting Started With Scratch" TOGETHER!
2) Please finish researching 4 facts about the Chesapeake Bay by using the HTS online encyclopedias. Scroll down to the blog post from last week.

Today is your first Language Arts/Technology integration class this school year. We will work on projects and computer games that are related to the topics you are covering in your Language Arts class with Mr. Rook and Ms. Bridgeland.
Today, we will be working on an ipad project, creating a cover for your school binder. You will use the Pic Collage app. You must include the following:

- 5 adjectives that describe you
- Type and complete this sentence: “My favorite thing to do is ____________”
- Title example: Luke’s HTS Binder
- Insert images of your favorite things including: sports, animals, pets, books, authors, musicians, vacation places, hobbies, colors, foods, etc. No more than 2 images of any one category (for example, no more than 2 images of sports, no more than 2 images of pets, etc.)
